AT&T and T-Mobile deal, which was announced in March, is officially dead after resistance from the FCC and complaints that the merger would jeopardize competition in the mobile market.
Zynga officially went public last week with an IPO of $10 a share. The stock quickly dropped 5 percent by the end of the day.
Apple wins over Android in patent on links to phone numbers from emails and text messages. The decision impacts the HTC EVO 4G, Droid Incredible, T-Mobile G2. Though HTC says it will likely update and remove the feature before the decision bans affected devices.
Steve Jobs won a Grammy for impacting the way users consume music, TV, movies and books.
Best Buy was forced to cancel many online orders just days before Christmas due to inability to fulfill orders.
Christmas was a huge day for smartphones as 6.8 million iOS and Android devices were activated and 242 million apps were downloaded.
