Digital Surgeons is a creative consultancy and full-service digital marketing agency for brands that are forward-obsessed and looking to spark new ways to drive demand for their business. We’re headquartered in our very own technology & innovation campus in New Haven called District, and our work has been featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, and The Webby Awards to name a few.

We are looking for a part-time, Market Research Intern for our Design Strategy team to support the insights development and creation of new human-centered digital solutions for our clients and internal teams alike. They will be helping with the research approach by providing support on defining core challenges, searching for relevant insights, and developing opportunities and recommendations in memorable and actionable ways. The intern will need to be comfortable in working with a variety of industries in a fast-paced environment and be able to shift their focus and priorities in response to priorities and be able to integrate new information. In return, the Research Innovation Intern will be given the opportunity to learn invaluable problem-solving skills, participate in wide-ranging and high-impact real-world research and refine their qualitative and quantitative skills.


  • Compile data for competitive landscape research including:
    • Current business models
    • Market Trends
    • Recent Product Innovations & Marketing Campaign Launches
    • Digital User Experience, Art Direction, & Content Strategies
  • Exploring market white space and future-forward business models
  • Assist in Interview planning, activity facilitation, and synthesis of findings
  • Support preparing findings and insights into a Presentation format
  • Building a best-in-class research repository
  • Working with the Design Strategy team to implement new research methods across the entire organization
  • Assist with coordination and minor administrative duties

Time Requirement

Looking for someone that can be available 15-20 hours per week depending on availability and workload of the week, flexible schedule as long as able to plan 2 weeks ahead.
