Recently Google has been trying out their new Search Within the Site feature on some of the larger websites, especially pulishers like the Washington Post. Google claims the feature is designed to enhance the searcher experience where as many feel its just another way for Google to increase Adwords revenue. How much impact this will have on website ad revenue, pay per click advertising, and the goodwill of major Google clients remains to be seen.
